Today's parents and their gadgets
Today, this phone seems to be much more interesting than Reading a story to your little one
Unknowingly we are teaching them that spending time on the phone when you can spend quality time with family is OK. Tomorrow we will blame them for not connecting with us. So it's up to us to teach them what bonding with family is .
Today, this phone seems much interesting then spending time with your husband/ wife.
but tomorrow when we will look back, we will have a little less memories to cherish...
And how badly we will wish to go back in time and feel each and every moment again..
WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?
Phones are now inevitable part of our lives we just cannot detach ourselves from it but, we must try to have healthy boundaries for ourselves as well as for our kids regarding screen time.
Follow these three rules:
1. No phone 30 minutes before bedtime
2. No phone during the mealtimes, preferably on Airplane Mode
3. Each time your family or your child has something to share, keep your phone down for a while.
